Welcome to our GCSE Programme for Modern Greek! Students who complete their Primary Education at our school can continue their Greek language studies by progressing to Year 7, which serves as the Pre-GCSE class. After successfully completing the Pre-GCSE year, students advance to GCSE1, where they begin to engage with the GCSE syllabus and prepare for the examinations.
During the Pre-GCSE year, students will cover essential grammar and vocabulary, focusing on writing and speaking skills. This preparation aligns with the five themes outlined in the syllabus guidelines, ensuring a strong foundation for success in the GCSE exams.

Our curriculum emphasizes the development of the four essential language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—while providing thorough preparation for the GCSE exams. This includes practice papers, mock exams, and personalized feedback.
